Nepal

Nepal has participated in and endorsed International Conferences and Reservations on the International Conference on Population & Development (ICPD) Programme of Action (PoA). These are: ICPD (1994), Beijing Platform for Action (1995) and Millennium Development Goals (MDG) (2000).[1] 

 

Nepal has also signed on to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1991), International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1991), Convention on the Rights of the Child (1990) and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (1991) with no reservations.[2]
