Countries

This website compares and contrasts national numeric reporting with data, local evidence, local research, audio and film files to show what the MDGs mean to the people they are meant to serve. Women are watching their governments to see if they will deliver on their promises.

In September 2010, heads of governments and diplomats will come together to report on the 10-year progress of the Millennium Development Goals. This will be closed-door meeting with a limited participation of non-governmental organisations, very few will represent the women’s movement although we comprise half of the world’s population.

This website is part of our campaign for the achievement of MDGs 5 & 3, focusing on capturing the relevant data and highlighting critical information on the progress, as well as lack of progress, towards the indicators of MDGs 5 & 3.
